No, so incredibly untrue. Had they pushed Jake Hager as an MMA Killer from the start, it would have at least been believable. He would still be boring as all hell, but believable.

With Punk though, no amount of skill in pretend fighting should be enough for anybody with any sense at all to forget just how absolutely bad at fighting he really is. Had Punk never done MMA, he could have come back to wrestling and still had the benefit of fans not knowing how inept he actually is. Like Bischoff said, he worked himself into thinking because he was booked to win fake fights that he could actually fight. He cannot, and now we all know it.
