The Elias gimmick fucking sucked. It’s peak “groan WWE” for me. Encapsulates that 2015-2017 wtf are they doing shit. Ezekiel was at least a way to segue into him being a wrestler. The guy pretending to be his own brother to fuck with people had legs.

Just repackage him under a new identity in NXT. Or use him as Ezekiel Samson down there, since he’d technically be a rookie. I’ve got zero desire for the guy strumming his guitar on Raw or SmackDown.

I’d be fine with him showing up as Elias for the Halloween Raw, but he’s Ezekiel playing Elias because it’s Halloween. If he can segue that into something (EE Samson?) then fine. But Elias is a step back.
