I play Gambit a lot and what I learned is to just assume others with will play as simplistic as possible. Kill a bunch of grunts and let the blueberries get the motes and cash in. Take care of blockers yourself, they won't do it. In the boss phase quickly deal with the Wizards, they won't do it. Hunt down the invader, they won't do it.
