There's a theater down the road from me that shows second-run movies for a buck, 1.50 on weekend, and the theater itself is one of the best in the area that doesn't have like stadium seating and stuff. The first-run theater I usually go to is 8, with 5.25 matinee prices. The Loews in the area is like 9.50. I've only ever been there once, and that was with a free pass.
