My understanding is they do not. Their salary is their salary regardless of how business goes. Very similar to the guaranteed contracts handed out by WCW.

The issue though is a guaranteed deal, even if you don't give creative control, can sorta act like creative control because the talent has less incentive to do programs they aren't interested in or comfortable with.

And Tony probably isn't gonna fire someone who won't work the angle, he'd just bench them which is largely where Miro is at now. And that's how WCW wound up with a ton of bloat on the books.
