I kinda hate it, myself. The newer "World" stuff is more stylish than the simple "brand color coded giant W" thing they were doing with all the belts, but it's still- I dunno... I want to say they're too ornate and too simplistic simultaneously.

It feels like WWE lost the plot about their championship belts after the Cena US spinner gimmick... which fit Cena at the time. Keeping it that way instead of leaving it as Cena's "Smoking Skull" made it stupid. Co-opting that design for the one of the WHCs was worse (especially initially, since the wheel wasn't counterweighted and the topheavy "W" kept flopping upside-down).

The last time I really "liked" any of the belts was the absurity of the Daniel Bryan "eco-friendly" strap. Before that was way back when Cody re-introduced the classic style white strapped IC title during his "undashing" phase.

Most of them anymore look like they're trying too hard to make them look like toys so that they can market toys instead of any sort of sought after trophy and decoration.
