I was initially coming here to bitch about how nobody seemed to be giving love to this match, but it picked up near the end.

However, I'm actually surprised about the comments about Andrade's Figure Eight, but lack of comments about Buddy's Gorilla Clutch. They BOTH paid homage to thier significant others.

It has come to my attention from this particular collection of posts that Dave Meltzer - whether intentionally or unintentionally - has co-opted the old "Perfect 5/7" meme and is using it unironically.
