Two of my favorite guys in wrestling. As warm and fuzzy as it would be for Gunther to break that long-lasting record, there’s a part of me that has always liked the idea of a face denying a heel that opportunity. It’s fake, after all. But I’d go with Gunther. I think you can tell a longer term story here. 2/3 Falls, Steel Cage, etc. Survivor Series in Chicago seems like a good place to eventually change the belt.
