Punk doesn’t damage the image of the brand. He pulled them up. You can’t claim him having no credibility through UFC and then have a roster full of guys who look non-athletic and can’t throw a working punch.
Destor’s likely right in a general sense, but Punk obviously helped to a depth that WBD specifically wanted him around. The way internet fans interpret ratings isn’t anywhere near reflective of the true value some people have. Plus, people have now had a more sensible product with a star dangled in front of them. I was willing to give Collision a chance, for example. Now? Fuck em.
