Whether you take into account his time in Smokey Mountain Wrestling or the early days of the Nation in WWE, it's actually an achievement for him that he was able to break free from the flunky role and come into his own. He always seemed to give it his all no matter the circumstances. Better booking could've extended his career in the mid-card instead of just leaving him to rot in purgatory. Overall, he filled an important role on the show, keeping the crowd warm for the bigger stage. I don't think I was ever bored with anything he did.
