I just don't see any scenario where Tony Khan would want to run a wrestling company that even he cannot say is the greatest thing ever. The huge rights deal seems to be what Tony put into his business model presentation, but really doesn't care.
If he was at all caring about making a profit, he wouldn't spend hundreds of thousands on special songs or millions on broken down or flat out injured wrestlers. How many matches did he even get out of Kota Ibushi or Paul White?
He does not operate AEW like he has a budget whatsoever.
