The first time a McMahon has been signed anywhere else but WWE? That’s a pretty big deal. It’s intriguing, for sure. At least short-term. Who is going to cause a bigger stir — Shane McMahon or Kazuchika Okada? It’s closer to doing something they should do. But they’d no doubt botch it because they’re AEW. The problems are in their very DNA.

Anything Shane could offer on-air he could do better in WWE. If he’s coming in to run the business? Well, he’s a step up from Tony Khan, and he’d probably surround himself with smarter people. But it’s still AEW. There’s a reason WWE hasn’t slotted him into anything important if he wants to get back into wrestling.

Easily the biggest since Punk, but it’d turn into a mess about as fast.
