WWE World Tag Team Titles: William Regal and Eugene vs. The Hurricane and Rosey (C)
Both teams respect each other, but when gold is on the line, you gotta do what you gotta do to win it. The match started with domination from Eugene and Regal, but as the match went on, things got more even. Everyone hit their finishing moves at different points throughout the match, but in the end it was Eugene and Regal that prevailed when Eugene made Hurricane tap out to the Crossface. Eugene and William Regal are the new World Tag Team Champions. Hurricane and Rosey congratulated them after the match.
WWE Intercontinental Title – TLC Match: Chris Jericho vs. Christian vs. Edge vs. Kane (C)
This match was certainly shorter than previously anticipated. Everyone brawls and high spots occur within the short time period. However, in a shocking turn of events, Christian manages to pull the title down and get the victory in less than five minutes. Therefore it’s set that Christian will be defending the Intercontinental Title against Matt Hardy at the Royal Rumble.
WWE World Heavyweight Title – Randy Orton vs. Ric Flair (C)
After shockingly winning the World Heavyweight Title for the 17th time at Survivor Series, Ric Flair had it all going for him. Not only did he have the gold, but he took over the Evolution stable. Unfortunately for him, the whole time he had Randy Orton coming down his throat. Orton was granted this re-match because of the re-match clause in his contract.
Both guys start out very evenly, constantly reversing each other’s punches. This continued until Flair managed to take the advantage and hit a back body drop. Flair continued to work over Orton with a side headlock and some more punches until Orton started to fire back with some right hands of his own. Flair tries the first cover of the match but Orton kicks out easily at 1. The match continues with this back and forth pace for a very long time until both guys are really winded. Eventually Flair managed to lock on the Figure 4 Leg Lock. Orton didn’t tap, but the pain was so strong that it kept him down for Flair to pick up the pinfall victory and retain the World Heavyweight Title.
