I'm a huge Taker mark... He's been my favorite for the longest damn time... Austin's still up there (My FIRST favorite), but Taker surpassed him in the Attitude era in terms of gimmick and evilness IMO... Right now, he's a mix between the ABA and the LOD, like some have said... Personally, I dont mind... He played great as the ABA, but the LOD was always his calling... He played everything to a T in that era...

I havent seen it recently, but as far as I remember, he did not have the exact same style... The only reason he sold so much in that match was to get Kane over... Otherwise, he was a big man who no sold alot of shit, and IMO that's what made the Undertaker/Lord of Darkness gimmick so great... He wouldnt make it seem he would be hurting and would just keep coming...
His current style is almost the same as the Amercian Bad Ass, where he would seem more "human", but with a little Deadman thrown in, like the sit ups, tombstones, and the no selling...
His attire isnt the BEST they could have done, but I have come to the realization that it's 2004 and it was time for a change back to the Deadman, but not exactly the same... If he went STRAIGHT back to the Deadman, it wouldnt make sense, and he would have to throw his newer style right out the window... (Although, throwing the Taker logo on his pants right away didnt make sense if they wanted to make him seem like he rose from the grave...)
I think that The Undertaker WILL be going back to the old school of the LOD, but not right now... Eventually, he will be retransformed into the LOD with a Ministry for one or two more runs as champion, then he will call it quits I think... I see ATLEAST one more championship under his belt before he goes out...
I just hope the WWE dont spit in the face of Taker fans down the line and bring him back for a joke Battle Royal and have him lose to someone who cant even go over the top rope
