LOL I'm sorry, but that sounded ridiculous, the way you opened there.
"The uh... Dolphins? Yeah, Miami... in the year, I think 1972? Maybe it was 73... I don't know, I didn't watch them at all. But anyways, somebody was saying that this year's Pats are better than them, WHAT THE FUCK?! That's fucking crazy, the '86 Dolphins were fucking dominant. How anyone can even compare them is mind-boggling. '46 Dolphins 4 lyf"
Anyways, the Bears also went 15-1 in '85.
Also, how the hell can you say the Pats' streak isn't impressive?! Because it happened over 2 seasons? OH DEAR FUCKING LORD, THE PATRIOTS ARE CONSISTENT. THAT MEANS THEY ARE AWFUL. Get real. It's even more impressive because of the way the league is nowadays. The '72 Dolphins didn't have a salary cap. Do you think with one they would have been as good as they were? No. That is why the Patriots are so impressive. In the modern NFL where it is very rare to keep the same core of players year after year, they still have developed a very good team chemistry and can win with it.
Anyways, even if the Pats lose a couple games this season, they're still good. They could lose next week against Miami and go 15-1, but they've still won 15 games in the season. No single game is an easy win for any team, because every game is totally different. That is what makes any type of consecutive winning streak amazing. There are no teams that have zero chance of winning any game, and that makes for great football. Someone else mentioned the calibre of teams they beat. To that I say, bullshit. The Cardinals are awful, but guess what? EVERY SINGLE GAME this year, they have been in. They haven't lost any blowouts, and were within 7 points in every game except the one against the Pats. And even then, the Pats were HEAVILY favored, and Arizona still put up a fight. They barely lost to one of this year's better teams in Atlanta. And look at the Bills too. Yeah they're 0-3, and their offense is horrible, but they could very well be 3-0. Their first two games were lost by 3 points apiece, and the game against the Pats was within their grasp until that fumble recovery TD which ended it. There's more to how good or bad a team is than simply their record. In week 3, Detroit was 2-0 but everybody knew they weren't one of the best teams in the league. Likewise, just because the teams the Patriots beat aren't all undefeated doesn't mean they are pushovers.
RAaaaar I spent too much time arguing that I forgot what I'm even trying to say now
