I've heard the clip a few times today a lot of reporters think it's a response he may have already had before the game, because he knew the question would be there after the game.
You really need to hear the whole thing, I'll see later if I can find a transcript...
He went to say he was the center of attention in yankee stadium and in NY and how it's amazing how 10yrs ago he was under a mango tree w/o 50 cents in his pocket.
