I agree, Jeff Goldblum rocked in the remake.
I think the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake is better than the original, laugh if you want, but it's my opinion. The Texas Chainsaw remake is one of the better remakes I've seen in years.
Probably because I loved the evil Sheriff in the remake of Texas Chainsaw.
As for sequels that were better than the first, I think "Superman II" is better than the first Superman. "X-Men 2" is better than the first X-Men film.
