On a side note, 2005 is kinda ugly free agent wise also...
Damon, Wakefield, Embree, Timlin, Millar, Mueller, Mendoza... and there's probably a few others...
Going to be interesting to see how they shape this team over the next few years... Let's remember, a lot of guys are "retreads" or coming off injury... Millar was saved from Japan, Mueller was coming off injury... these guys are gonna want big bucks.
I wouldn't be shocked to see the socks go after Beltran, even though he has Borus for an agent, to cover themselves incase Damon goes the next year.
I also think the Yanks would make a serious play for Beltran since Bernie isn't getting any younger.
