I see Beltran going to the Yanks, although the Stros could make a run at him, if they decided to go after Clemens again and you have pettite coming back.
I think the Sox go after Pavano... and I really wouldn't be shocked for Pedro to give the Sox a home town discount... As tough as it is to play here, he fits in w/ the players and the press understands him and when to leave him alone and such....

and the sox will only go so far, because unlike george who owns the team outright, the Sox owners (Henry/Warner) have loan payments that have to be made, so they do reach a point they have to stop. Plus, Theo had said they didn't want to be over the luxury tax 2yrs in a row, I think the MLB rule is, if you go over 2yrs in a row your tax % doubles.
ok, leaning twords my Clemens Astros jersey and a bag over myhead tonight... problem is, there really good seats and the owner might not find it funny if I show up on national TV in his seats w/ a bag over my head and a Clemens astros jersey... Plus, what to put on the bag...
