My main beef with AMD is that they run their processors hotter, and because of that, the company I work for has a higher ratio of returned dead AMD cpu's than Intel. Thats the main reason I will stick with Intel, duribility. Performance wise, it doesnt really matter what CPU you choose.

I agree on the heat issue. It seems that on the AMD systems we have used they tend to "hiccup" at inopertune times (such as April 14th when the staff is in the middle of last minute tax returns

) We've gone straight Intel pIV and haven't had any processor issues.
