Just asking because I have the same P4 and will give it a shot later with a new board. Intel boards I love, but they just dont let you play with them.
Yeah, it's a 2.4c @ 1.6v with no cooling Issues.
I'm running an Asus P4C800 Deluxe mobo
Using a Alpha PAL8942 Heatsink with a Vantec Stealth Fan. Keeps it pretty cool.
Also running Corsair ram.

I'd recommend the Asus P4C800 Deluxe to anyone. Great motherboard.
I've been overclocking for years now, and besides my trusty Epox 8KHA+ and Athlon 1.4 this has definately been my overclocking rig of choice. I haven't pushed it yet, can't really be bothered.

You shouldn't have too many probs overclocking that far with the standard cooler even, I just always take things a little too far
