I've been dabbling with the Legendary difficulty and I must warn you all, it isn't easy. Infact; it'll tell you how bad a Halo player you really are. On many occasions you will move only a few houndred yards in a level an HOUR. Think I'm joking? Try it. To be honest, though I have the option to play whatever level on Legendary since I beat the game, I've yet to beat a single one on that difficulty. All that runnin and gunnin got to go, start thinking Rainbow 6.
