I've been saying for a while that I dont feel any kind of spark for the things they are building to (HHH-Orton/Taker-Angle). So if they can do something to skae up both shows, I'd be all for it.
The problem I have with JBL dropping and then going to RAW is that SD would once again lose another top end guy. For better or worse JBL has been the focal point of SD basically since May, and for them to lose him with nothing in return would be another sign that SD = "B" brand.
The other problem I see is that without JBL on SD, they all of a sudden become dangerously thin on the heel side. You've got Angle as the top heel, and then Carlito (but he's hurt) and after that you've got very little. Heidenreich could be squashed tonight, and Jindrak and Reigns aren't exactly legit top guys. After that there are the CW's, and unless they are really going to push that division as a top level thing, there will be a huge gap.
They could always turn somebody, but who?
I guess if they went with the idea that was rumoured where Benoit would jump to SD and link up with Heyman as a heel, that might work. And then there is the "lets turn RVD and push him" fantasy, but that aint happening.
On the positive side, they've done a decent job building up BT in the last month, and if he goes on last tonight and wins the title that will perhaps make the SD title look more valuable. And then if you go on to an Angle-BT program over a few months, I think they could really help the title's credibility. Which would lead into whatever they want to do at Mania.
Meanwhile JBL would add a new element to RAW, and I guess would be used to heat up Orton going into Mania.
I guess we'll know what decision they've made relatively early on. If Angle survives in his match, then they've likely went with the title switch (set up BT vs Angle), if Show is really dominant and wins the match, then JBL likely retains and they do JBL-Show at Armageddon and Show-Angle for the Rumble in order to get the title on Angle prior to Mania.

I agree. I'm not really feeling the programs developing in the WWE right now. I could really adjust if they sent Shawn Michaels to SmackDown!, and head Angle vs. HBK headline Mania main event for the WWE Championship.
Booker T could win the title (which I hope he does), but I'm really smelling a six-man Hell in a Cell or an Elimination Chamber coming along at Armageddon. I can see Bradshaw defending in that match much more easily than I can see Booker T defending the WWE Championship in one. Anyway, I'd put the title on Angle at Armageddon, then have HBK as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble. HBK goes on to win, and then faces Kurt Angle at Mania in a classic build-up, one-on-one match WrestleMania 21.
JBL shows up on RAW after losing, and proceeds to "turn RAW around". He makes the matches seem more valid, and he fires talent that he's paying too much for just eating company time (Chris Jericho, The Hurricane, Stacy Keibler etc.). All of them go to SmackDown! a fuel a Vince McMahon's SmackDown! vs. JBL's RAW.
