Is Puder from Atlanta? If he's not, there's no point of doing that Hometown gimmick at Armageddon.
I still think they need to do something huge in the next month or two in order to get people talking so Mania doesn't toally tank.
So if they want to do that hometown challenge thing, why not have Anlge do the open challenge thing in Atlanta, and when he gets to the ring he beats some random kid, and starts running down ATL. Then GOLDBERG's music fires up, and he comes in and spears Angle and Jackhammers him, and the ref counts 3.
But that wont happen.
JBL should retain, at this point they have very few heels on the SD side who could challenge a babyface champion and therefore they sould just keep the title on JBL. I actually think they should just try to put the title back on Eddie at Mania, since its in LA, maybe they could just play up the Latino thing, and use that to maybe get the Latino market to save this PPV. They buy in droves when Oscar is going for a title in boxing, so if they were to build Eddie back up the right way, it might cause a small stir. They could play off the fact that JBL never actually pinned him.
The other idea I thought of would be just to keep the title on JBL until like Summerslam 05. I know that sounds like a really bad idea, but they dont have any other guys that carry the load on the heel side (unless they say turned Benoit and moved him over like Paul Heyman wanted). Plus, they've already spent all this time building him up, so why would you have him drop the title at a meaningless show like Armageddon?
Then at Summerslam build up to Cena winning the title. I would say do it at Mania this year, but if Orton is going to be chasing and winning the title, I dont think they should do the exact same angle (Cena chasing JBL) for the SD side of the same show. This is another problem of having two titles.
If they were to keep the title on JBL long term, I would bring in Hogan to do a JOB for him in a title match.
