The DS is pretty damn cool, but there seems to be a gap in their target audience and the people who will actually be able to figure things out. The younger audience playing their GBAs for pokemon and harry potter all want a new DS, but I think the touch screen is a bit harder concept for them. Sure it still amuses them (which is really the point anyway) but I don't think they'll be fully enjoying everything you can get out of the games.
This is all based on watching the little kids try to figure out how to play it in the store. Oh, and the games are so frickin small that little kids will lose them on a daily basis (which may also be the point).
