The DS is pretty damn innovative for a game system. Dual screens and a touch screen.

Another innovation is Animal Crossing, with the 24 hour actual real time clock.

Plus, the eCard reader, which reads data off a card and you can play games from it.

Nintendo is still very much innovative.
