We are talking about the same show that somehow turned Bradshaw into a main eventer. I don't think that Gangrel and Mordecai are much more of a stretch. It was speculation, anyway, but they were the only things I could think up that were close to Taker's kind of angle.
Also, I didn't say lightning. I said supernatural. I meant angles like the feud with the early Mankind, Kane, the Ministry ... you know, things that are more along the lines of Undertaker's MO.
