Anyway, I doubt Flair wasn't being sincere with that handshake. He might have added some kind of comment about Foley shaking the hands of an actual wrestler, thinking Foley wouldn't do anything since he's their guest.

Foley then might have said something about "Would you like to shake the hand of a man who sells his merchandise?" or something more personal, which lead Flair to hitting him, with the same mindframe as before (Foley wouldn't do anything).

Foley has kept my respect for not killing Flair. Ric's tough, no doubt about it, but I think Foley would probably use Flair's hair as a mop for his own blood.
