ok put it this way, they have a team mentallity they're like a brother hood... If someone walked into a police station and threw something at a policeman theres' a good chance that he would be in a little pain by the time he was done... even though it's not legal at all, that's the kinda stuff that happens when you're on a team... I am not a fan of what he did and I believe the courts will deal with there stuff and im not even a person who likes "sports and laws" together but they did jump in the crowd and that's understandable. I don't believe O'neil jumped in the crowd though so if he felt threatened of the guy on the court then that's just as much as self-defense.
Self defense isn't always "he hit me first" if you feel threatened that's still self-defense.
