the closest that i know of to a game in the rock/metal scene is that Metallica has a Twisted Metal rip off coming out with music and characters inspired by Metallica. They say its suppose to come out this year but all I have seen is the same Trailer for a year now.
Iron Maiden also released a FPS called "Ed Hunter" that is based on a Maiden theme, with a complilation CD.
