It'd make it uneven. Players want to use their favourite wrestlers... but if their wrestlers have low stats then it makes the match uneven. Don't get me wrong, there should still be weight class differences... like Shannon Moore shouldn't be able to suplex Big Show, but stats are just a bad idea...
thats' why they let you build up their stats if you want
