***Mind you I don't think these men are the most important wrestlers or wrestling personalities in history, however, the question asked who was important to me, and this would be the list***

1. Bobby "The Brain" Heenan: To me, he was, is, and always will be the voice of professional wrestling. On these threads we always talk about our dream matches, well everytime I write down a dream match I imagine Heenan calling it. Whether he was with Gorilla Monsoon or with Tony Shivone, Heenan was always the best half of great announce teams. We always think of Heenan and his funny lines, but he was much more then that. He had a great kncak for making small matches seem big.

2. "Flyin'" Brian Pillman: Pillman always has a special place in my heart, because he was always my favorite wrestler? Why? Because he was always the underdog, and everyone loves the underdog, and everyone loves the Yellowdog too. One of my favorite moments in wrestling was when he entered War Games with a seprated sholder, I remember being actually proud of him. All the way through he was my favorite. Hell he's the reason I'm a Cincinnati Bengals fan, which up until the past two years I hated him for, haha.

3. The Steiner Brothers: It was the first ever wrestling PPV (or just a big televised main show I'm not sure) and I went upstairs to watch wrestling with my dad. It was a tag team tournament to see who was the best tag team in the world, eight countries were represented with one team each. USA's team was the Steiner Brothers, and wouldn't you know it Team USA won 3 matches and the tournament, from then on in I was a wrestling fan.

4. Cactus Jack: He was the first bad guy that I every wanted to see win matches. I liked him for about the same reason I liked Pillman, Jack could take a beating and still fight you tooth and nail... not to mention I always loved to go "BANG! BANG!"

5. "The Lionheart" Chris Jericho: Jericho was the man that brought me into the present/future of wrestling. Until this time I was a fan of the big personalities and the old school wrestling values that existed in wrestling... Then Jericho came and blew away anything I ever saw in and out of the ring. Jericho was doing things in the ring that made me gasp, and out that made me laugh. He was and is the new wave, he is what every wrestler should be.
