How could they water down a series of singles matchs? It's not like the KOTR tournament was supposed to be Hardcore or anything.

Also: Mike, I understand that you're new here, but from now on, could you be more specific with your thread titles? "KOTR '05!!!" sounds like it was a scientifically proven fact that the KOTR was coming back. When I entered this thread, I wanted to strangle a baby I was so excited...only to find another discussion thread. It made me so disappointed I was ready to strangle a baby.

And to reply to Corky, yes, the KOTR tournys did have low numbers. However, it also gave the oppertunity for major stars to rise. I've said many times before that Orton would be much more over now if he had that crown/giant trophy/whatever. And without the oppertunity to make Austin's most famous catchphrase, the WWE might have lost truckloads on merchandising. But seriously, the WWE appears to be interested in another gimmick PPV (With Taboo Tuesday this last year). They should at least experiment to see if the tournament fits them suitably. I think the drawing power of the winner (if booked right) would far outweigh the lack of a draw to the tournament itself. Then again, if they booked ANYONE right these days, they wouldn't have to cut corners at all, would they?
