I've played both City of Heroes and World of Warcraft and my advise would be to do everything in your power to get WoW to work. CoH is fun for like a week and then you realize that it lacks any real item system, quests, rewards, pvp, a solid 'guild' system, etc. You have no real incentive to play and it just becomes a bland grind with very little else to keep you playing.

WoW is pretty amazing. Blizzard in general is amazing and they're going to turn this game into the greatest MMO experience you can imagine, if it isn't already as is.
