Just imagine somebody like Funaki winning. How great would that be?

That is what I pray for every year! I'm glad someone thinks the same way. I started watching in 2001, and when the Royal Rumble was on my whole family was watching and getting into it. Kane, The Undertaker, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Rikishi, The Big Show & Haku. I think that was all the big stars in the 2001 Rumble, but my favourite wrestler (Kane) did so well in it, and the way they booked it, it looked like it could go any way.
Compare this to: Kane, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Rob Van Dam, Booker T, Rey Mysterio, Christian, Kurt Angle (if they do double duty), The Big Show (if they do double duty), Ric Flair, Batista, Triple H/Randy Orton, Edge, Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Gene Snitsky, The Undertaker/Heidenreich (if the winner does double duty), and you have an intense Royal Rumble. Not all of those people will be in there, but you can certainly have a packed Rumble, with a lot of unpredictability. See Big Vito 22's Rumble plan to see what I mean.
I would MARK THE F*** OUT if Rhyno won the match. They don't have to make him in the main event, but picture it. Rhyno's #30, or earlier, but doesn't do much, all of a sudden when all the guys are in, GORE! GORE! GORE! We all have Goregasms when there are about ten Gores and ten eliminations with Rhyno winning the match. RHYNO is going ot Mania. Then they have him lose the rights to Batista or someone. Or if they crowd reacts well, why not have him go there, face Triple H and take the title. It wouldn't be a draw, but if the fans get behind Rhyno enough, I don't see why not.
