How does this sound? The WWE brings up Kousin Krazy from OVW (because he sort of looks like Eugene) as "Eustace" and has him fill in temporarily as William Regal's tag team partner. Just for kicks and giggles.

Or you could have William Regal use a "hometown hero" as his tag team partner, and use that as a way to explore indy talent, while getting them some recognition since they're defending Eugene's side of the World Tag Team Championship. Maybe Regal can even let them get the pinfall after he cleans house.

Or there's that young English guy in OVW that they could give a tryout. Not Paul Burchill (I think that's his name), but another young rookie.
