Yeah he is really stupid. Wanting to stay and get his education and his degree (I'm guessing he hasn't got it yet). He has all his weapons back next year, he will be better, the players around him will be better, therefore he more than likely raises his stock up tenfold.
Yeah, what a moron. Maybe he just isn't in it for the money and fame, although he knows if he stays another year, he could:
-Win a threepeat
-Be a two time Heisman trophy winner
-Raise his stock in the draft even more, resulting in more money
