I mean as entertaining it would be to see Batista crying about his Mom and Dad got divorced, I think the "him kicking ass" thing will work just fine.

I agree with that for the most part, but I think a lil' of the "soapy" stuff could work as well (if booked right). The only concern for something like that, is that it could FLOP just as bad.

In the other thread (the one where you spoke about Austin beating the crap out Bret Hart/Hart Foundation almost each and every week), I think you made a good point:

For a face to LEGITIMATELY get the 'rub' from a top heel, he has to be getting the BETTER of that top heel on most occassions.

So with that being said, what would MOTIVATE Batista to go on a f'cking rampage and try to "take out" Triple H each and every week?

I'm not suggesting that we see a HUGE corny soap opera type deal, but just SOMETHING to further add flames to the HHH/Batista feud.

The Jericho/Christian from last year's WM, is a good example of what I'm talking about. Yeah it had some "soapy" stuff with Trish involved, but it didn't overshadow the entire feud.....it was just a supplement....that made the overall feud more interesting.

Right now - Batista's character seems kinda laid back (unless he's pushed).

With a mini-angle like this, it serves as a pretext in "evolving" Batista's character to a more intense one (or atleast one who is intense almost all the time........which would be better for him?).
