You can't own statistical data.
However, you also can't use someone name for marketing.
and they will argue that people play fantasy baseball to have names like "Barry Bonds" and w/o the names, people wouldn't play and hence no profit. Which will link the profit to the names which are owned by the MLBPA.
Can't really agrue with it. Legally it makes sense, you should have a say in who can profit off using your name.
