If Nash goes down, after last week it really is quite obvious that the Suns are done. Q would hurt a lot, but obviously not as much as Nash. If they go into the playoffs shorthanded like that then I can see them losing in the first round to the Lakers or something. If it works out where they come into the playoffs with their starting 5 healthy though, I don't see a team that can stop them besides the Spurs.
The Mavericks are just a poor mans Suns in my opinion.
The Kings are old, fragile, and overrated in my opinion.
The Timberwolves don't have any drive this year
The Sonics are too inexperienced and I expect them to break down, not completely, but I don't see them holding strong into the playoffs.
The Lakers will get there but they don't have the talent to go anywhere
The Rockets just don't seem to have the edge that it takes to win big games in the playoffs
I think that the Spurs will pretty much roll through the playoffs because they are so consistant and good on defense. I think that the West is still as a whole much stronger then the East, but the Spurs and Suns are the only two elite teams, before there were like four even five elite teams in the West. I don't think any team but the Spurs can hold of a healthy Suns.
