You're a little wrong there. Why does everyone keep thinking people got tired on seeing Goldberg win? I explained this like 4 times the past 2 months.
First, what killed WCW was Nash and Hogan booking shows, Bischoff letting them get their way and people in the company not giving two shits about wrestling. No direction at all.
Second, Goldberg refusing to lose? No, he never did. He refused to work with Jericho, but that was after the streak was killed. WCW made a smart move when they put Goldberg in that winning streak. They made a stupid move when they HAD HIM LOSE. I explained why in another thread probably like 4 pages back. People were paying to see Goldberg destroy and win. Why stop that?
I'll tell you why, Cause Nash and Hogan got sick of being out of the spotlight. Hogan wanted his belt back and Nash was being Nash. So they derailed Goldberg's momentum and basically killed him in the process. That was a major blow to the company, which they never bounced back from.
