Everything you guys mentioned contributed to the Death of WCW, along with the fact that few superstars ever got pushed as the next generation. The shows were always centered around Hogan, Nash, and their buddies. Like LC mentioned, Goldberg was the company's biggest draw whose push was killed, and his career was just flushed down the toilet. DDP, Jarrett, Steiner, and Booker T were given pushes as well, but they did little to spark any interest thanks to the depleted fan base, and Russo and Ferrera treating the shows like complete jokes.
WCW had Bret, Jericho, Benoit, Malenko, Guerrero, Saturn, Raven, and plenty more guys who would have been huge stars for the company had they been pushed, but Hogan and Nash didn't think they would draw, especially cause of their size. Nash dubbed Benoit and Guerrero the "Vanilla Midgets".
