Carlito is still injured, I think. BTW, I love Theodore R. Long, and he's entertaining as anyone, but has anyone else noticed he's too much like an anti-heel. He forced Carlito to defend the US Title with a broken arm. If he had forced John Cena to do that, he would instantly be a heel GM. I just can't see the fairness in Teddy Long's character.

Anyway, I'd like to see Cena hold the US Title until Judgment Day, at the least. You can have him forfeit the belt, but I think him dropping it to a heel while he is the WWE Champion would give them a lot of crediblity.

Why not have Cena lose the title at The Great American Bash? Carlito winning the belt there would be simply awesome, IMO. Have Cena do double duty with both belts until then.

I do have a soft spot in my heart for Orlando Jordan winning the belt, though, and then having JBL demand Orlando hands it over when he can't beat Cena for the WWE Championship.
