Fighter's Destiny; the most original fighting game this decade and I swear by that. It had a point system for the common 3D fighting actions, counter hits, special moves, throws. It was very competitive and I'd use it to teach non-fighting gamers to play 3D fighting games. It was
that technical. A sequel came later, but didn't have the same impact.
The point system was cutomizable, so if you felt a throw was worth 8 points, let it be.
