Like we didn't know that from the begining?
Of course they're out to break the union, otherwise they would have come to a deal to save the season months ago.
Evenif the players agreed to a 42.5million cap the owners would have found another reason.
The question is now, do they save teams who can't survive or just let a few teams fold.
Also, if there is a 32million dollar cap, or anything under 40mil, how many of the older top stars will come back to play for 1/2 of what they made rather then retire or take less money and play hockey closer to home?
Maybe Vince will try the XHL!
