B. Most fans would tell you, more then any other team, the Yankees have a certain image. The Bronx Bombers, the winners. A-Rod has been there one year and hasn't won, so in a lot of peoples minds he doesn't fit that image.
C. Curt Schilling came to the Red Sox, won a World Series in a dramatic fashion with the Red Sox, and immersed himself in the Red Sox culture from the start. Its not just an issue on years, Curt Schilling is a true Red Sock now.
D. Personally, I think that A-Rod fits the Yankee image. He really is the most high profile player in the league, highest paid and everything, so I think it makes perfect sense that he plays in New York. Also his lifestyle fits New York much more then it did in Texas. If A-Rod can get over the humps and get over in New York he will go down in history as an all time Yankee great.
