I think Womack can do exactly what they need him too though. Look at the Cardinals last season, if their batting order started with Renteria instead of Womack, then Rolen, Edmonds, and Pujols would have been moved up in the order and everything would have been very different. Having a guy who can get on base before having your best players hits makes all of your best players very effective, at least in my opinion. Does that make sense what I am saying? I get the impression that I am not explaining myself.
