Depends on what you're looking to use it for. Intel has the HT technology so it's usually better for running multiple applications at a time that need their own processing power and AMD is the leader in gaming processors, in my opinion. If you want to wait a couple months, save up for the AMD Dual-chip Processor. It's the greatness of AMD now with an answer to Intel's HT. Plus, it fits in the same mobos that are used now.
