Well, Wrestlmania is juat around the corner and every year I always share my "fantasies" for WM with my friends. So here's what I wish would happen on a match by match basis(note that I am only using matches that are already announced or most likely to happen):
Match- Trish Stratus v Christy Hemme
Christy is too green, I want Trish to rip off her top and deliver a Chick Kick for the win.
Match- Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Although my heart goes to Christian(PUSH HIM VINCE!!) I want Edge to pull out the win by the skin of his teeth.
Match- US Championship Orlando Jones v Booker T
I like both these guys and this match would be the most prominent match in recent memory involving two African-American singles stars. I think that Booker has been unfairly cast to the side on Smackdown, and I would like to see him capture the title.
Match- Rey Mysterio v Eddie Guerrero
The only match that really stands out to me from WCW as a technical classic is Rey Mysterio v Eddie Guerrero at Halloween Havoc 1997. I expect no less of this match. I don't have a big favorite in this match but I guess I'd like to see Eddie hit the Frog Splash for the win
Match- Randy Orton v The Undertaker
12-0. Like Jake Roberts said, " That means alot to me." The Undertaker to me is Wrestlemania for this generation like Hogan was Wrestlemania for the last. Orton has plenty of time to make an impact, he'll turn 25 two days before Wrestlemania. Call me old-school, but I think legacies should be made after years of wrestling. So as far as this match goes- Taker hits the Tombstone for the 1-2-3.
Match- Kurt Angle v Shawn Michaels
This match is going to be the Gotch v Hackenschmidt of our time. Two of the three greatest WRESTLERS of the last ten years(the other being Bret Hart) will be going at it in the ring. As much as I like Michaels, I believe he is in the twilight of his career and should take the job for Angle, much like Bret and Taker did for Michaels in the late 90's(not that either one was in their twilight at the time). I would like to see Michaels tap out for the first time(that I can recall) since Survivor Series 1992(to Bret Hart).
Match- WWE Championship JBL v John Cena
Quite Simple. Cena doesn't have it right now. JBL cleanly wins. In my opinion Angle should be the champion although I do believe JBL is doing a decent job.
Match- Sumo Match Akebono v Big Show
Who cares? I want Wrestlemania not SumoWrestlemania. Big Show has NEVER won at Wrestlemania. The largest wrestler in 20 years is 0-5 at WM! HE NEEDS TO WIN MORE THAN MAE YOUNG NEEDS A RESPIRATOR!
Match- World Heavyweight Championship Triple H v Batista
Batista's time will come but not now. His technique needs to be a little more polished. I want Triple H to win clean.
Epilouge
Triple H is in the ring, celebrating after a hard-fought victory over Batista. Suddenly, Edge's music hits, Edge comes out and demands his title match right there! After a relativley short match, Edge hits the spear and 1-2-3 we have a new World Heavyweight Champion. As Edge is celebrating Jericho comes out and stands at the head of the ramp and stares him down.
