I read it.

Backlund is indeed a great athlete. Shame things work out crooked for guys like him. I remember watching Backlund matches as faces and enjoying them greatly, and seeing Bob as heel and wanting him to get the funk beat out of him - so he was doing his job well. In either case, Bob put on great matches, and was a great talent.

I loved his holier-than-thou gimmick, and he really got the fans going big time. So with that, I leave everyone with a poem dedicated to the one and only Mr. Bob Backlund:

Everything you look for in a wrestler. Except for a tan.
He's Bob. He's Bob Backlund. And he is the man.
